A healthy tropical blueberry smoothie

This recipe was recommended by a friend that had a gastric bypass performed in order to lose weight. He cares very much about whatt he eats, because its not only about eating healthy, low calories and in small quantities, but he also must take care of his daily intake of vitamins and minerals, so this shake (smoothie) made with blueberries and raspberries has become his breakfast.

It is rich in calcium and vitamins but also has a great taste.



Ingredients:

1 banana
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup of natural yogurt, unsweetened
2 tablespoons of blueberries (or strawberries)
1/2 cup of orange juice
1 to 2 tablespoons of honey

Preparation:

- You can freeze the fruit the night before for a creamy texture, frappe type.

- Combine fruit with orange juice, yogurt and honey into the blender. Mix until it looks smooth. Correct its sweetness and add more honey if necessary.

- Serve in a glass and garnish with fruit. Enjoy it!
